1) Services We Provide
MacN'Droid Repair (“MacN'Droid,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides diagnostics and repair services for consumer electronics including (but not limited to) phones, tablets, computers, and game consoles. Services may be provided in-store and, where available, via mobile repair.
2) Estimates, Quotes, and Pricing
- Quotes are estimates. Pricing shown on our website or provided by phone/text is an estimate based on the information you provide.
- Final pricing may change after hands-on inspection/diagnostics (for example: internal damage, frame damage, water exposure, or prior repair issues).
- If the price changes, we will attempt to contact you for approval before proceeding (unless you authorize us in advance to proceed within a range).
3) Diagnostics and Authorization to Repair
By submitting your device for inspection or repair, you authorize us to open the device, test components, run diagnostics, and perform reasonable steps necessary to identify issues.
Some repairs require disassembly that may reveal pre-existing issues or create unavoidable risks (see “Repair Risks” below).
4) Customer Responsibilities (Backups, Passcodes, Accessories)
- Back up your data before service whenever possible. Repairs can result in data loss.
- Provide passcodes/PINs when needed for testing (optional, but may limit what we can verify).
- Remove SIM cards, cases, and accessories unless needed for the repair.
You are responsible for your data. We are not responsible for data loss, missing photos/files, or device resets that may be required as part of troubleshooting.
5) Parts, Part Quality, and Availability
We may use OEM, refurbished, or aftermarket parts depending on availability and your selection. Colors, brightness, glass feel, and component behavior may vary by part type.
Some devices may show system notices after repair (example: “unknown part”). These are device/manufacturer behaviors and are not proof of poor workmanship.
6) Repair Risks and Disclaimers
Electronics repair includes risk. By authorizing service, you accept that:
- Devices with pre-existing damage (cracked back glass, bent frames, swollen batteries, prior repairs, corrosion, missing/stripped screws, etc.) may have a higher chance of complications.
- Some repairs may reveal hidden damage or cause additional breakage due to fragile materials (especially older devices or severely damaged devices).
- Certain features may not be restorable if damaged (e.g., Face ID/Touch ID, water resistance seals, motherboard-level faults).
Water resistance: Opening a device can reduce water resistance. Even if seals are replaced, we do not guarantee manufacturer-level water resistance after any repair. Avoid exposure to liquids.
7) Water-Damaged Devices
Water or liquid exposure is unpredictable. Corrosion can spread and components may fail later even after a successful repair.
- Water damage services are provided without guarantees of long-term reliability unless stated in writing.
- A device may work at pickup and fail later due to corrosion progression.
8) Turnaround Time
We aim for fast service, including same-day options for common repairs. Repair time depends on part availability, severity of damage, testing requirements, and workload. Same-day completion is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing.
9) Warranty (General)
We provide a limited warranty on eligible repairs. Warranty generally covers:
- defects in installed parts, and/or
- workmanship issues related to the performed repair.
Warranty does not cover:
- physical damage after pickup (drops, cracks, liquid exposure),
- new issues unrelated to the repair,
- tampering or repairs done by others after service,
- software issues not caused by our repair,
- water damage devices unless explicitly covered.
For exact coverage, refer to our Warranty Policy or the warranty details on your receipt. If there’s a conflict, the written receipt controls.
10) Abandoned Devices, Storage, and Disposal
If a device is left with us and you do not respond to pickup requests, it may be considered abandoned after 30 days from the date service is completed or the date you decline service.
- We may charge a reasonable storage fee where allowed by law.
- Abandoned devices may be recycled, sold for parts, or disposed of to recover costs.
11) Payments, Deposits, and Ownership
- Payment is due at pickup unless otherwise agreed.
- Some repairs may require a deposit for special-order parts.
- You represent that you are the owner of the device or authorized by the owner to request repair.
If payment is not completed, we may retain the device where permitted by law until the balance is paid.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MacN'Droid is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, downtime, etc.). Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13) Website Use and Quote Tool
Our website and quote/booking tools are provided for convenience. Estimates are not binding. We may update pricing, availability, and content at any time. You agree not to misuse the website (spam, scraping, attacks, or illegal activity).
14) Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We use your contact details to respond to requests, confirm availability, and provide support.
15) Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
